Tips on choosing a venue in Northamptonshire

This is one of the slightly harder things to talk about this is there are such a variety of venues now. Traditionally it was a church ceremony and then a beautiful hotel or stately home. As time has gone on there are so many different options.

Traditional is still popular but the diversity in choice is a range this also depends on your theme you have chosen.

Themes you have to match venues could be:

Traditional = church and hotel

Magical= church and a castle or for convenience a castle

Boho= outside wedding possible outside ceremony and then marquee or tepee

Rustic = barns outside ceremony possible then reception inside the barn

Romantic = Manor house ceremony and reception

These are just a few themes and combinations

You also have to think is the type of venue right for the other ideas you want as most hotels don’t allow outside catering, if your wanting food trucks or pizza van it’s not going to fit in with the venue.

This is what I would say the most cruicial part of your wedding as the things you need to cross check is:

Have they got the date you want? If not are you flexible on the date?

Can you add everything you want under what they allow?

Is there a restriction on what time you have to be there until?
